GLCCA Board Member Spotlight: Rick Bonitzer

The Great Lakes Credit and Collection Association introduces Rick Bonitzer, CEO and president at PayCourt. He brings over 10 years of experience in the receivables industry working with PayCourt.

Here, Bonitzer shares what he hopes for the future of the accounts receivable management industry and GLCCA.

Q. Tell us a little about your position with PayCourt.

I’ve been with PayCourt for over 10 years now—time flies. We’ve taken a boutique mom & pop small business to a thriving agency of over 30 employees leveraging some of the most advanced workflow & automation out there. I’ve been at the helm for about the last 7 years and looking forward to many more.

Q. What are your hopes and goals for your time on the GLCCA board?

I hope to learn more about who the agencies are that are eligible but not affiliated with GLCCA & how we can convince them of our value.

Q. Do you see trends or difficulties in the industry right now that GLCCA can help with?

GLCCA—and ACA International at the national level—are doing wonderful things to help small- and medium-sized businesses thrive. Compliance is always a hot topic and we’re out in front with the right content.

Q. Is there anything you want members to know about GLCCA?

The leadership team is extraordinary!

Q. If you’re open to sharing, tell us a little about your family and/or hobbies and interests outside of work.

My kids are aged nine, 12, and 13. My daughter is a club swimmer and dancer, and my two sons both do club baseball and recreational football and basketball. Between my wife and I, our free time is largely spent traveling to games, tournaments, meets and conventions. If we have some down time, it’ll be with a high-end Cabernet.
