Benefits Abound at the GLCCA Annual Meeting
Being a member of the Great Lakes Credit and Collection Association comes with numerous benefits. In addition to being an excellent resource for networking with other industry professionals, we also place a high value on the educational benefits for our members.
The GLCCA Annual Meeting is one of the highlights of these educational opportunities. In addition to a variety of informative sessions ranging from industry best practices, technology advancements, and compliance and legislative updates, the annual conference also provides attendees an excellent opportunity to connect with like-minded industry professionals.
“The GLCCA Annual Meeting offers our members significant advantages,” notes Pauline Kussart, GLCCA President Elect. “As an agency owner, this event is one of the highlights of my business year. Not only do I gain valuable knowledge during the sessions, but I also value the time I’m able to spend connecting with other agency owners. It provides each of us a forum to delve deeper into the current state of the industry and navigate next steps,” she adds.
Being held at the Wilderness Resort in the Wisconsin Dells (the “Waterpark Capital of the World”), also meant plenty of time for family fun after-hours. “We encouraged attendees to bring their family and make a mini-vacation out of it. A number of attendees took us up on that suggestion, and really enjoyed their time relaxing in the pools or splashing down the waterslides,” Kussart indicates. “This reflects the strong family nature of our industry, with many agencies being family run for generations. Making our meeting an event that offers something for the entire family made it really special.”
