The GLCCA Receives the ACA Unit Certificate of Excellence
The GLCCA exists to serve as the collective voice of its members regarding legislative and regulatory issues that might impact their businesses. With that in mind, we are always seeking to represent our members with excellence.
At the recent ACA International convention, we realized this goal for the second year in a row, as we were honored with the Unit Certificate of Excellence. This Certificate “recognizes units committed to excellence in local operations.” It also provides the GLCCA board with an ongoing dialogue regarding the things that make a well-run unit.
The Certificate of Excellence is based on a points system ranking in six key operational areas, including:
- Membership Statistics
- Communication
- General Operations
- Education
- Government Affairs
- New Accomplishments
“We are honored to be recognized with the Unit Certificate of Excellence for the second year in a row,” notes GLCCA Board President, Tim Haag. “It represents what the GLCCA is all about – providing our membership with the very best tools and opportunities to be successful in their businesses,” he adds.
As we move forward, we believe that this certificate should not simply be another accolade, but rather a standard to which we are always striving.
